the 2010 winter olympics in vancouver canada will have a rad sasquatch mascot named quatchi. this pleases me. the use of quatchi as a mascot will hopefully send a signal to all sasquatches, yowies, yetis, bigfoots, and skunk-apes to stop leaving giant footprints and just come out of hiding. or it will bring a massive lawsuit filed on behalf of all sasquatches for illegal appropriation of celebrity likeness. awesome mascot design by meomi design. quatchi mascot info via the very funny blogfoot (thanks blogfoot!).

always good to read up on important news, especially when that important news is a possible bigfoot sighting in pennsylvania. yeah! check out the photo to the left. sure, you might be thinking ‘that’s a bear with a case of the mange doing push-ups’ or, you could be very alert and open-minded and think ‘finally, the sasquatches are coming down from the hills to destroy all of our computer equipment and set us free!’ i can always dream, can’t i? i’d better let blogfoot know about this.

loving this find on youtube titled Six Million Dollar Man “The Secret of Bigfoot” featuring a young lee majors and a young andre the giant as the mighty bigfoot. nothing more i need to say. just watch the radness. it’s just enough to make you want to start sewing your own bigfoot costume (if you haven’t done so already).

the ever funny & always powerful musical comedy genius duo known as tenacious d will be playing a concert in san francisco this month. their last show in SF was in 2002 at slims i believe. the D is on tour for their new movie tenacious d: the pick of destiny. (check out the trailer - it’s got sasquatch in it!). tickets for the SF show are still on sale too! the show is monday november 20th at the bill graham civic auditorium. and tickets are not cheap - $50+ after taxes & fees (hence the not sold out part). go & i’ll see you there! meanwhile, enjoy the D below.

forget the bird flu - time to catch sasquatch fever, malaysian style! apparently there’s been a rash of bigfoot or ape man or sasquatch sightings in malaysia recently. big footprints found too! does the mighty sasquatch have a malaysian cousin? sounds exciting! so much so that the government of malaysia has began a search expedition to find the malaysian bigfoot. no, this is for realsies! it’s even listed on bfro.net (that’s the Bigfoot Field Reseachers Organization). i am excited.
giantmonster loves all things sasquatch, yeti, skunk-ape, yowie, and bigfoot! so the elders were very pleased after getting a heads up from rhode on the very rad embroidery art of megan whitmarsh. very lovely stuff. i found out all of these great embroidered bigfoot pieces are sold. that is sad for you and me, but happy for megan whitmarsh. worth checking out.
