the luggage store is hosting feral, an art show featuring works by swoon and monica canilao. the show opens tomorrow (friday 6pm - 8pm) march 21st and runs through april 26th. the highly rad fecalface dot com has a great sneak preview of the feral show which i highly recommend if you can’t make the actual show.

the art gallery anno domini located in san jose, ca is currently presenting ‘victims’ by barron storey. the solo show features new illustrations, sculpture, and installation pieces by barron storey that depict the damaged and the wounded. you can also see extensive images of the ‘victims’ art show via the flickr photo art show sets of astrogirl and atomicmonk. barron storey’s ‘victims’ art show runs at anno domini from february 1st through march 15th 2008. definitely worth a visit.
gallery 1988 in san francsico is having an art show titled the indie: an art show celebrating alternative press artists. the indie art show opens april 21st, 2007 - which is also the same weekend as APE (the alternative press expo) in san francsico - and runs through to may 12th. the indie show features art by derek thompson, jerome ranft, sanjay patel, brandon bird, camilla d’errico, attaboy, and many others. looks to be a great show. here’s a map to gallery 1988. maybe i’ll see you there.
