in watching the x-men 3 movie again, i have to concede with much of what derekmonster was saying. it was pretty bad. like when someone in a room with you farts and out of politeness you try to not notice it, but you can’t because it smells really really bad? yeah, that kind of bad. now, i am questioning my ability to make proper judgements. i feel my life unraveling .. falling apart … all because of getting caught up in the hype of this shitty movie.

hey fury, great site.

i have to agree with Derek. X3 was a mess. new characters were “ok” to “lame”.
c’mon, angel barely looked better than the angel in Barbarella. action scenes were not well shot. nothing came close to the nightcrawler intro. character developement was at a bare minimum. what happened to cyclops!! off camera actions that need to be explained through dialog is bad filmaking. so many nits to pick, i won’t be able to stop so i’m cutting it short here.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!
Despite ratcheting my expectations WAY down for this movie…and they were already pretty LOW, i was still startled at how LAME this movie was. other than a few glimmers of potential, i thought this was a sloppily made, bombastic mess with almost none of the qualities which made the first two X-films so enjoyable. Just one useless subplot after another.. ( Angel and his Dad? please. lame. Iceman/Rogue/Kitty love triangle? lame.lame.lame.) Plus tons of USELESS B-grade mutants that did nothing but distract from what the movie SHOULD have been about…DARK PHEONIX!! i mean COME ON!@ Ratner just couldn’t decide where to put the focus and the movie just rambles and blasts and jerks it’s way around and left me feeling nothing.. nada. zip. what a shame.

i won’t even get started on the TALL wolverine SHORT storm rant…

lame.

if you want to see a good movie this summer, go see CARS.
