ouchies! from wired, witness the next level of fashion and/or shocking your parents and/or needing to differentitate yourself from your social/fashion clique: extreme body modification via subdermal implants. interesting. oh-my-god, tattoos are sooo mainstream. there had to be a next level to counter-culture. but i also know folks who say such mods make them feel more spiritual and grounded in their body. sure, yes. that would explain the brass knuckles. or maybe they just want to look like this. whatever makes you happy. seems no different than plastic surgery to me. only a bit more lumpy. here’s a link to wired’s photo gallery of the lumpy subdermal alterations. owie! ouch-ouch!
