i think the ‘W’ in george w. bush now must stand for ‘wiretaps.’ or maybe ‘wow - wiretaps? wonderful!’ it used to stand for ‘worst’ as in ‘worst president ever.’ using the picture to the left, you can play a neat game called ‘find the liar in this picture’ or just click on this link right here (links to quicktime movie). rest assured america, those illegal wiretaps were only used to eavesdrop on terrorists and evil-doers. what’s more disturbing to me is that the new york times actually sat on the wiretapping story until after the 2004 presidential election. more on that time-delayed story in a washington post article. so, um, is that liberal bias? then remind me to cancel my NYT subscription.
